Who we are

Level Up ("we", "us") operates https://levelupdub.net. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit the Site.

What we collect

• Essential. We process technical data needed to serve, cache, and secure the Site. That includes remembering your cookie choice, TLS, bot protection, and CDN delivery.
• Analytics (optional). We may collect aggregated usage through Vercel Analytics and, if enabled on our Cloudflare zone, Cloudflare Web Analytics. Optional client analytics activate only after you opt in through the cookie banner, except as described for privacy preserving edge metrics below.
• Third party embeds (optional). The Spotify player and the Laylo SMS and drops widget load only after you allow analytics. Those embeds may set their own cookies and load their own analytics inside the frame. Until you consent, we show a placeholder and a link to open the service in a new tab instead.

Cloudflare proxy, security, and analytics

The Site is, or may be, proxied through Cloudflare. Traffic can pass through Cloudflare's network for CDN caching, DDoS protection, WAF and bot management, and related security. Cloudflare acts as a processor for these essential hosting and security functions. This processing is necessary to deliver and protect the Site and does not depend on the analytics cookie banner.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics. If enabled, Cloudflare may collect aggregated performance and traffic metrics. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage to identify visitors. Where a JavaScript beacon is used (static.cloudflareinsights.com), we treat optional client side analytics as consent gated wherever we control loading. Metrics collected solely at Cloudflare's edge from proxy logs, without a client beacon, are part of operating the CDN and are disclosed here as Cloudflare analytics processing.

Legal bases under GDPR

• Legitimate interest and necessity cover security, CDN delivery, fraud and abuse prevention, and remembering your essential cookie preference.
• Consent covers optional analytics, including Vercel Analytics, the Spotify player, the Laylo embed, and similar trackers that require opt in.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics and tracker embeds, including Spotify and Laylo, are not activated until you choose "Accept analytics" or "Allow and load" on an embed placeholder. You can change your mind by clearing site data for this domain and revisiting the banner.

Processors and transfers

Hosting and edge delivery may involve Vercel for application hosting and Cloudflare for CDN, security proxy, and optional Web Analytics. Analytics after consent may also involve Vercel Analytics. The Spotify player and the Laylo embed, after consent, are provided by Spotify and Laylo. These providers process data under their own terms and appropriate safeguards, which may include transfers outside the EEA with suitable protections, for example standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Consent preferences stay in your browser until you clear them. Analytics and security log retention follow each provider's defaults when those services are enabled.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
